The Aqua Lung Calypso is a reliable and simple unbalance piston regulator that is ideal for travel and diving in warmer water. The uncomplicated inline piston first stage is very simple to maintain and service, resulting in reduced ongoing costs. Air is available from four low pressure ports and one high pressure port giving good hose routing options.

The second stage is a mid sized unbalanced downstream regulator with a tool less hose to second stage connection. Although supplied in the standard right hand configuration, the second stage can be reconfigured by a trained technician. The air flow can be adjusted to change the venturi effect, diverting air towards the diaphragm in the minus position and directly towards the mouthpiece in the maximum position.
