Apeks Regulator Instrument Bag

Apeks Regulator Instrument Bag

£16.95 RRP £22.71  save 25%

This regulator bag fro Apeks is large enough to fit an entire set of regulators including first stage, primary second stage, octopus, instrument console and hoses.

The bag is padded to help prevent the regulators from becoming damaged. An easy access zip with large rubberised pull tags at the top of the bag allows quick access into compartment. A mesh panel at the bottom allows excess water to drain out and the regulators to air, helping to prevent a build up of moisture. A removable shoulder strap is supplied which is easily fitted to a tab on either side of the bag for carrying.

Rectangular regulator bag allow do not bend the hoses of the regulator. A bag handle would be useful.

Don

Don't bother, spend a little more and go for the Mares reg bag. Just about big enough for the xtx 200, xtx 40 and SPG. Too much of a tight fit without casing any damage for my liking and not very well padded.

The bag is not as square as it looks

The bag is not as square as it looks, it's actually retangular, but this I feel makes it even better, especially when you have a 3 in-line console like myself. I actually purchased this for my girlfriend who has apex regs & found it to be better sized & featured (mesh drain holes) than my scubapro bag. As the zip on my bag has now rusted away I will probably buy one of these for myself.

The metal hardware on this bag rusts easily when exposed to salt water. Always rinse it with fresh water to avoid rusting, and to avoid salt crystal build-up on the zipper. Apart from that, its a well made bag, nicely padded, and holds a DIR doubles reg s
