The Buddy Redwing from AP Valves is a central element of the Buddy modular system giving you the capability to upgrade your sport jacket to a technical configuration by adding an extra 22.5 kg of redundant buoyancy in a self-contained unit. Designed to be used by a wetsuited technical diver or for drysuited cold water dives deeper than 70m, the Redwing has its own inflation and hose exhaust independent of the jacket bcd situated in the same hose assembly offering one-handed operation of both functions. There is a second manual dump valve at the kidney and third o.p. valve at the rear top.

The Redwing is fully compatible with both new Buddy jackets - the Commando and the Explorer. It sits between the waistcoat jacket and the cylinders and is fitted by a simple re-threading of the existing backpack webbing. Two welded stainless steel 50mm D rings provide secure rear anchor points for side mounted travel and decompression cylinders.

The Redwing allows for extra trimming possibilities to achieve a relaxed head up surface support position regardless of the cylinder configuration.
