Info on the Thermalution Wireless 100m Heated Vest

The Thermalution Wireless 100m Heated Vest is, essentially, a controllable heated base layer for the torso. This slim, lightweight vest style garment uses Far Infrared Rays (FIR) to warm the core of the body via a flexible non-metalic heating panel on the back. The heated vest can be used down to depths of 100m and can provide heat for 180 - 240 minutes depending on the temperature setting.
 
A waterproof wireless controller can be either be worn on the arm using the supplied velcro band or secured using one of the fixing loops at the top and bottom. The controller has a push switch to turn the vest on and switch between the three different temperature modes. Each command is confirmed by the vest with a short vibrate and the current temperature mode is displayed on the controller using different LED colours.The vest operates using two rechargeable high capacity lithium-polymer batteries with a built-in controller chip to provide between temperature stability
 
A Far Infrared Ray (FIR) is a spectrum of natural light with a wavelength 4-1000 microns with rays between 6 and 14 microns being able to penetrate deep into the body where they gently elevate the body temperature.
