Info on the TUSA Visualator Mask

The first important difference in the Visulator is that the lens and frame have been dramatically made bigger compared to previous products. The second important difference is that the distance between the lens and the eyes has been reduced. To increase the field of vision in a mask, the lens must be brought closer to the eyes. To achieve this, the Visulator's frame was made as thin as possible and the fitting line was moved slightly to the outside.
By moving the fitting line up to the middle of the forehead, the distance between the lens and the eyes is further reduced and a wider field of vision (both above and below as well as left and right) is achieved. The inner volume has actually been reduced compared to traditional single lens masks. The lens and frame have been made bigger, but since the distance between the lens and the eyes has been reduced, the inner volume has actually been reduced in comparison with other traditional single-lens masks. Thus, clearing the mask, as before, is easy to do.
Since the fitting line is large in proportion to the large size of the mask and because of the thinness of the frame, the mask is also more resistant to moving, even in a current. The five-position strap adjuster is a first for the industry. This provides for the best fit. Until now, in order to adjust the vertical fitting of the mask, it was necessary to change the tension by sliding the strap vertically at the back of the head. The Visulator features a five-position strap angle adjuster to make fine adjustments for the vertical fitting of the mask possible.
By making changes and setting the left and right strap angles, fine adjustments to the vertical fitting, which were not possible on masks until now, can be made quickly and easily.

I

I'm now onto my 6th.... How's that for praise ;-) I'm a heavy user / diver, I've yet to find a mask with better vision. But the drawbacks are 1. It's a very wide mask so not suitable for small heads. 2. The mask fills your fin boot or your drysuit pocket so it can get stuck, 3. Due to its fit, this mask requires you to be semi clean shaven.

I have a been looking for a mask to fit...

I have a been looking for a mask to fit my larger face and this mask is perfect. It is larger than most but not ridiculously larger and still low volume. Visibility is what diving is all about and this gives you the best visibility by far. Looks best in black. Quality product from Tusa as expected.... Hope this helps
