Excellent product

Excellent product, exactly as described on the Simplyscuba site. I had corrective lenses fitted as well to cater for my short sightedness. The delivery service was very good, with the pre- notification delivery date to the hour and arriving bang on schedule. Not only that, but an email to follow up with video guidance on how to check the mask as well. Looked a bit of a lemon wearing them in the bedroom, but it takes all sorts ! Excellent service all round. Thanks.

Excellent mask bought it with bi

Excellent mask bought it with bi-focal lenses.Ordered Fri 8th Mar, received Tue 12th, dived with it Sat 16th. No leaks and the bi-focals work a treat. Nice soft silicone, very comfortable fit. Recommend you test fit before you order, I tried both the Geminus and the Splendive masks locally and went for the Geminus as I couldn't get a good seal with the Splendive. Very pleased with both this purchase and the service from Simply Scuba.

This was my first dive mask

This was my first dive mask, and unless it falls apart I will not be getting a new one. The fit is perfect and the silicon is comfortable even after a 75 minute dive. It is a very well made mask and the haven't had problems if it. I have a smallish face, whereas my dad has a larger one and he doesn't like the fit at all,so i would say this mask will suit those with a smaller face.

Q -

Hi, Can you supply bifocal lense down to the doctors exact prescription? R-2,25 L-0,75 bouth 0,75. If yes can i send you the prescription and order it for a Geminus?Rg. Stefan

A -

Hi, We can advise that we can only offer the bifocal lenses in the prescription readings shown on line unfortunately.

Q -

Dear SS, I recently bought a Tusa Visio Uno mask from you and although it is a lovely mask, beautiful quality etc. I can't stop water coming in the bottom (by my nose). This mask seems to have a broader silicon skirt along the bottom is this so? Might this help? Thanks, John

A -

Hi, We can advise that this Mask should have a very good fit and seal against the face. You would need to make sure that you take steps to make sure that you are placing the Mask onto your face correctly before going into the water to obtain the good seal, but generally this Mask should be a very good, realiable mask.

Q -

I wear vari focal glasses for reading purposes. Would I be better off with minus lenses or bi focal lenses?

A -

Hi, We can advise that it depends how your vari focal is set up. For instance if you have problems with distance then you would need the minus lenses but if you have problems in reading closer up then the bifocal lenses would be advisable because the prescription part for reading would be at the bottom part of the lense and you could then see the clear lense at the top part for distance.

Q -

I would like to purchase a black/black TUSA dive mask with prescription lenses (L= -2.00, R= -2.25). Could you please provide a quote? Thank youPSDo you also stock replacement catches/buckles for the mask, as this is what broke last time and I cannot get a replacement? ThanksSacha

A -

Hi, The easiest way to determine the costs and the postage costs to your destination is to add the items to your shopping basket online and select your delivery country from the drop down list (and currency if required). Once this is done a full order quote complete with shipping breakdown will be displayed on the right-hand side. Please note in some countries you may need to check with your local customs to see if any import duties are payable - these are your responsibility to pay directly to customs on receipt. Please also be aware that there are some items which have restrictions against them implemented by the Supplier's/Manufacturer's in respect of if they can be shipped outside of the EU/UK, and this will be highlighted on the Web Site if you add such an item to your basket. We can also advise that we do not sell replacement parts for the Masks unfortunately.

Q -

I wear vari focal lenses. Would I be better off with bi focal lens or plus lens for seeing close up?

A -

Hi and thanks for your question, The bi-focal lenses for scuba masks are a little different to bi-focal eyeglass lenses. The bi-focal scuba lenses are designed predominantly for customers who are ok with distance, but struggle reading their instruments. As such the majority of the glass is clear, without any prescription applied, and a small oval of additional glass in teh lower portion of the mask provides the prescriptive power. Wheras a normal plus lens has the prescription applied across the entire glass. i hope that info helps with your decision! Kind regards
