Info on the Simply Scuba Uwatec Battery Change SP

This Battery Change Service Pack is for Uwatec dive computers including:
- Aladin Pro MK2
- Aladin Sport MK2
- Aladin Plus
- Pro Ultra
- Sport Plus
- Smart Pro
- Aladin Air / Air L
- Air Z
- Air Z Nitrox
- Smart Com
- Smart Z
- Smart Tec
Includes the battery change service kit, and labour.
Postage Cost for returning the product back to Customer are charged in addition.
All the parts required for the battery change are supplied by the manufacture and our technicians are trained by Uwatec to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Once completed we will post your dive computer to the delivery address you provide using Royal Mail Special Delivery
How to use this Service Pack:
Step 1. Choose the Battery Change Service Pack for your dive computer from the options list on the right and add it to your basket.
Step 2. Make sure that you complete all of the contact information, i.e. billing address, delivery address, phone numbers and email address so that we know where to send your computer when completed and can contact you should there be any delays.
Step 3. Print out a copy of your order confirmation and send it along with your dive computer to;

Please ensure that you use a recorded and insured method of postage when sending in your dive computer. We accept no responsibility for loss as a result of your computer not arriving with us.
Step 4. Sit back and wait for us to change your battery and send your computer back to you. We'll drop you an email when we despatch it so you'll know when to look out for it.
Please don't add any other items to your basket, if you would like to purchase goods please place a separate order.



How much will it cost to deliver my order?

Standard delivery is 2-3 days from the date of despatch. Orders under £100 the postage is £3.99 but orders over £100 the postage is FREE (UK Mainland Only)

Express delivery is 1 - 2 days from the date of despatch - £5.99

Next Working Day - £7.99 (Please note that the Next Working Day option is not available in all locations and is only available if all the items you are trying to order are in stock)

What if I want to return my order?

We hope you will be completely satisfied with the Simply Scuba Uwatec Battery Change SP purchased from Simply Scuba. However should you wish, you can return the Simply Scuba Uwatec Battery Change SP for any reason within 28 days from the date of despatch for a full refund (less postage costs).

Items must be unused and in an as new condition with all packaging and labels/tags attached. The latest date for returns is printed on your delivery note for clarification.

I have a Uwatec Aladin Sport that I purchased in 1999. It has not been used for about 10 years since I stopped diving. Do you have the battery for this model and will the £60.00 include a service check? Regards Barry Martin

The Aladin Sport battery change includes a check and pressure test as part of the service price. We don't sell the battery separately.

I have 2 Uwatec Pro dive computers that require new batteries /service. Can you confirm I just order and pay on line and get some code as proof of payment or can I forward them both to you and pay you on the phone?

Hi, thank you for your enquiry. You can just add two of the battery change service packs to your basket, check out and pay online for the order. The service pack description has a link in it to download a service form which you will need to complete and send with your dive computers. This will provide all the information we need to process the battery changes and order. Best regards

Hi, I bought 2 years ago a SMART Z + emitter on internet from a Spain Dive shop. The product was complete with box and full documentation. I took it to my dive shop in Paris in order to change the battery. He noticed that the serial number was damaged, point that I have never noticed before (I did not know where was such serial number). He sent it to Scubapro/Uwatec for the change and Uwatec sent it back without doing the job because the serial number was damaged. I have made an inquiry to the French Uwatec distributor to ask why they refused whereas I bought the computer in this state and I have all invoice and billing proofs. I am still waiting for the answer. According to the information that I am giving you, are you able to change the battery of my SMART Z? Thank you in advance for your answers. Hi, thank you for your enquiry. Typically the turn around time is approximately two weeks. The units goes back to Scubapro / Uwatec's UK workshop to be replaced due to the complexity and involvement so time frames are very much dependent on their workload.

not sure what if my Aladin is a mk 2. it's bright blue'Aladin Pro Nitrox'. i bought this new in 2001.it has the original battery,however, the screen now reads' Err' is this a case of battery repalcement?

I have a Uwatec Smart pro dive computer. during my last dive the service icon came on and the code E 06 appeared on the display. Could you tell me what the problem is? Do I need a battery change,as prior to the dive the battery was showing 96%.

Hi, thank you for your enquiry. The error code 06 typically refers to the battery level. Unfortunately without us or any other Scubapro Dealer sending it back to Scubapro I can't offer any more advice beyond that.
