It is the only light that is a flashlight, emergency flasher and S.O.S. survival beacon all in one package.
On clear dark night it is visible over 3 miles (5km) horizontally over land or sea, 5 miles (8km) vertically from the air overhead. It features a wide viewing angle, and intense red colored consistent light output and flash rate that will not affect a user's night vision.
Lifetime LED bulbs (up to 100,000 hrs.) over 11 years continuous operation. Superior strength case and lens. Waterproof to 100 meters (300 feet). Operates from -40° to +50°C (122°F). Uses 1 lithium 2/3 A 3-volt battery (included) works in cold temperature. Battery Life: 30 hours continuous light, 200 hrs in flashing modes.
Three output modes in one light:
- Steady-On/ proximity flashlight mode
- Flashing signal mode (140 per minute)
- S.O.S visual signal mode (Microprocessor controlled)
The integrated stainless steel clip allows the VIP to easily attach to almost anything.
