The SeaLife DC1400 underwater camera is a brand new HD camera that replaces the DC1200. THis 14 megapixel camera has large keys for control even when wearing gloves, a HD video mode and six underwater colour modes for your best images yet; on land on under water! Can be used to 60 metres with underwater housing.

excellent camera to use underwater

excellent camera to use underwater, need to keep reading the user manual to get the most out of it, good rugged design just a little pricy but glad I bought it

I purchased the dc 1200 just before the 1400 came...

I purchased the dc 1200 just before the 1400 came out, first used it in july 2012 in Egypt, diving it, was so simple to use and set up, other people on the boat where vary interested and wanted to know how to get hold of one /realy good pictures as well next thing buy a sealife strobe //great Fj

The Camera is really easy to use

The Camera is really easy to use, and the color shift for diving v. snorkel v. land is incredible. Downside is the slow startup time and relatively short battery life (200 photos or 40 mins video). Used in Iceland for cold water (2 degrees) and it performed extremely well in harsh conditions! The flash is useless unless you are within 1/2 foot, so would recommend buying external lighting or flash. I recommend it!! Pictures are phenominal, and HD video is perfect!
