The MK17 A700 from Scubapro is a regulator with a new polished chrome edition MK17 first stage and an A700 second stage. The first stage has a balanced diaphragm and the second stage has a precision crafted full metal design both of which are suitable for cold waters.

This is a truly awesome regulator set

This is a truly awesome regulator set-up. I was a little worried about the weight of the second stage as it's all metal but once I recieved it there was very little difference between the A700 and my previous 2nd stage (EOS). The breathing performance is exceptional in all positions, and dry even when inverted. Being all metal construction there was no 'dry mouth' - which is a big plus. It is a lot of money, but I can see this being my regulator for many years to come.
