Oversized large reel with 50m of line ideal for use whilst wearing gloves. Thumb operated line release and ratchet rewind system. This large SMB reels is manufactured from marine quality stainless steel fixtures, with polypropylene and ABS mouldings, it comes with 50 metres of high grade line and the knowledge that this reel will give you years of excellent service.

It is quite big

It is quite big, but if you're buying an 'oversized' reel I guess you're expecting that! I just clip it onto my bcd and let it hang down while not in use during a dive - I imagine some might find that a bit annoying but it doesn't bother me - you'd have to have pretty voluminous pockets in your bcd to fit this reel inside one of them though. The reel itself works well, easier to use than the smaller alternatives I think. Anyway, I've got no complaints and would definitely recommend it - as long as you're comfortable with its size

Ok - large it may be but it's easy to use and well built. I expect many years use from it.
