Info on the Mares Abyss 52 Regulator

The Mares Abyss 52 is a high performing regulator in cold water due to the NCC system, all metal technology and and Abyss second stage. This is a reliable and safe regulator that gives easy breathing and minimal free flow even in strong currents. This Mares regulator gives great freedom of movement as there is a superflex hose.

  • All metal technology makes this regulator ideal for cold water dives due to high thermal conductivity
  • Dynamic flow control (DFC) minimises the pressure drop and so makes it more reliable by giving a stable air flow
  • Natural Convection Channel (NCC) increases performance in cold water
  • Tri material valve mean high performance, reliability and enhanced safety
  • Vortex assisted design creates a vortex with low pressure centre to give complete ease of breathing
  • Mesh grid reduces pressure and so minimises free flow even in strong currents
  • Superflex hose gives freedom of movement and is lightweight
