The 2ndSkin cold water wetsuit from Mares is a 6mm steamer with some fantastic new features such as a thermo plush lining for superb comfort and warmth whilst remaining super flexible and a spine pad provides great back protection where tanks tend to cause discomfort. Supratex knee pads not only look smart but guard this high wear area and zips include zipper seals for a superior water barrier.

The 2ndSkin wetsuit can be worn over the 2ndSkin shorty for ultimate protection against cold waters!

Features

• Thermo Plush internal fabric is soft, durable and designed to increase free movement. It also prevents the suit retaining water, helps the suit dry faster and keeps you warm.
• Spine pad, which is an additional layer of thick neoprene, has been stitched under the back zipper and is designed to provide more comfort during a dive and reduces the discomfort of the tank on your back. The smooth external skin perfectly sticks to the inner part of the zipper which creates a superb seal.
• The Double cone system minimises water flow in critical areas such as the ankles and wrists. By folding the glide part of the inner cone against the skin and then overlapping a glove with the glide surface of the upper cone you can make an incomparible seal.
• Custom closure. The neck closure system allows for easy customization of neck fittings and new velcro tags moulded in rubber are usedto minimise snagging of the neoprene. Back and front zips provide skin on skin zipper seals for a superior water barrier.
• Supratex knee pads constructed from anti scratch polyurethane has been engineered for high strength and protection whilst remaining flexible.
• SilverSeal titex zips are used which are extremely strong but it is recommended that they are lubricated regularly.
• New seals which prevent cuffs and ankles being torn
