Info on the Intova Sport HD SP1 Camera

The Intova Sport HD SP1 is a small but very versatile camera that is designed for outdoor enthusiasts from all disciplines. The Sports HD records video in full 1080p High Definition, images in upto 12MP and can easily be fitted to a range of attachments and mounts for different sports and uses.
 
The rugged polycarbonate housing and lens design allows a 140 dgree viewing angle without the significant distortion found in wider angle lens. The flat lens design also allows seamless operation above and below the water. An additional UV treatment is applied to the lens to increase scratch resistance and reduce reflection. The housing is waterproof to 200ft / 60m.
 
The Intova SP1 uses a standard 1/4 inch tripod thread to fit a wide range of Intova mount accessories. Boxed set includes Sport HD camera (model# SP1), USB cable, TV cable, 8 inch lanyard, and user manual on mini CD.

Excellent little camera that

Excellent little camera that's way cheaper than a GoPro + housing, yet also has features lacking in the GoPro. It has a white balance option, which lets you get rid of the worst colour casts without using filters, and its very easy to use the power and start/stop buttons underwater. The option buttons are fiddly with gloves on and need a hefty press, but you dont really need them much anyway once set. No accessories with it, just the camera and a lanyard to hook around your wrist. It floats, so you know where to look for it if you let go. For a grab and go camera this is great value, everyone who saw it was impressed and surprised when they heard the price. I got a 32Gb micro-SD card from Ebuyer for just over a tenner and the job was done. Great camera.
