Contrary to some beliefs

Contrary to some beliefs, the cylinders are supplied valve open. I spoke to SimplyScuba and confirmed this. Cylinder arrived well packaged. Can't go wrong for the price!

Hi, I'm looking to buy my first scuba cylinder. I bought Apeks xtx regs from you, 300 DIN fitting. I'm only wanting a 232 cylinder, 12l, standard (tall).I'm just a bit lost looking at your products. If I buy the Faber (11554) does that have a removable insert to allow it to become a DIN fitting?Advice welcomed!Thanks,Graham

A 232 bar cylinder that has a removable insert (like the Faber you have mentioned) is compatible with 232 and 300 Bar DIN fitting regulators. The insert converts the cylinder between A-Clamp and DIN fittings to make them more versatile. 300 Bar cylinders are only compatible with 300 regulators (232 bar fittings will not seal)

Hi and thanks for your question, a cylinder requires it's first test 2.5 years after the date of manufacture. These cylinders come direct to us, new, from faber. As such, allowing a few months for the cylinder to get to us from Faber, it'd be due it's first test approx 2 years after purchase. Kind regards

Hi, Our Cyinders are not 02 clean and they do not have to be certified as 02 clean. This is not something which we action ourselves. Thank you.

Does this cylinder come with DIN or Yoke manifold?

Hi, the cylinder valve is convertible between Yoke and DIN 232 Bar using a removable insert.

The date of manufacturer will be stamped on cylinder as they are new stock they should be new date
