The newest Atomic Aquatics SplitFin®, "Smoke on the Water" gives an exciting new look to basic black, combining opaque and semi-transparent materials together for a beautiful rich looking effect.

Accompanying the new look, "Smoke on the Water" is fitted with the newest innovation, the Atomic Aquatics Spring Strap. Like every product Atomic make, the innovative design re-thinks the old and improves upon the concept. What's unique is the "variable pitch" of the stainless steel spring (Pat.Pend). Unlike other spring straps that have a constant coil of the same diameter, our new spring straps have a variable pitch and section geometry (they change shape) in specific regions of the strap. These special shaped regions allow the spring to stretch more easily for a more comfortable fit and make them stronger to resist breakage or permanent deformation if they are over-stretched or abused. The spring straps are fitted to our patented quick release buckle system that permits simple, one handed removal or attachment. These new straps will also retrofit any existing Atomic Aquatics open heel Split Fins by simply snapping them on in place of the old straps. A large, rubber heel pad with oversized finger grip adds comfort and makes slipping them on and off quick and easy. Constructed of rust resistant type 316 stainless steel, this may be the last fin strap you ever buy.

Review Feels good, easy to use and fast. Adjustable spring strap is a good idea, however I don't like the quick lock buckles. Could be a cause of failure

Review Beautiful splitfin with adjustable springstraps. Didn't try them jet into the water bur only the posession of these fins make me happy allready... ;-)

Review Very nice fins, the glossy marketing pictures make them look a tad shinier than they actually are but that does in no way subtract from their practical value. The heel clip is easily accessible and the spring stays on snugly.
