Info on the Atomic Cobalt Dive Computer

The Atomic Cobalt is a new step for a brand that has built its reputation around extremely high specification and performance dive regulators. The Cobalt is a air integrated, console mounted dive computer with a massive list of features.
 
The Atomic Cobalt Dive Computer joins the new generation of models that are focused on diver experience. The Cobalt boasts an OLED display for full colour screens that benefit from the high contrast, sharpness and brightness that this newly adopted technology brings.
 
Another upgrade from traditional dive computers is the replacement of pin operated buttons that are protected from leaks by O-rings. These pose a potential failure point if the O-ring seal were to break so to counter this Atomic have fitted the Cobalt with magnetic buttons that have a 'soft touch' finish. This takes away the entry point through the computer case which can obviously only help its integrity.
 
More commonly found features include electronic digital compass, on screen logbook and profiles, air and nitrox up to 99% oxygen, gas switching and a rechargeable battery.

What a great computer

What a great computer! Yes its very expensive and yes its not got a radio transmitter - BUT it has the best and clearest screen ever and it is very easy to use. It is very clear underwater and simple to scroll around the menus. It also has a superb compass that seems to be accurate at all angles. The built in battery appears to keep its charge forever, and is easily charged from a USB slot or mains. This is the 1st computer that has worked straight off the dive to my MAC (using MACDIVE) with no drivers or downloads needed. Pricey but without a doubt the best dive computer out there.

Ordered it yesterday came today great service as useual, very easy to use my eyes are not what they were this is perfect will be trying it out in 3 weeks shame there is not a case to put it in to keep it safe while traveling,
