The FAMi Power LED 50 is a very compact and reliable torch using the latest in L.E.D technology to give extended burn times. Because of the highly efficient nature of the Luxeon 50,000 hour LED's used, these torches give incredibly long burn times using ordinary AA batteries. Torch comes complete with a wrist lanyard and carry case.

Review	Highly recommended. I found that it is as bright as my UK Canon 100 HID but much more rugged and well built. I've been using in 70/80min. night dives with 2700mAH rechargeable batteries and found that it dropped its output after 30 min.

Review	Good torch, bright as a 10w HID and 100 times more rugged, no replacement of expensive bulbs when you knock it, not sure why an extra led in the head makes such a difference to the battery life 3hrs for the 50s 8hrs for the 40. Don't bother with the evo, get some high power 2500mah NiMH AA rechargables, you can use them for other things if not diving. the lanyard is unbeleivable bad, for what is otherwise a well made torch. The FAMi catalogue shows loads of ways to modify add etc but not easy to get on the UK. Might look expensive but should last a lifetime. Oh the carry case is pretty nifty with good protection.

Review	Brilliant torch!-very well built,-the darker it is the better you notice its performance(ie at depth).Batteries last well-beam is narrow though,not so good, for say a night dive, over those that give a larger spread- Highly recommended over more expensive non LED models!.
