Speciality courses

This is what the PADI Speciality Diver education program aims to fulfi1l.

Each speciality course has been especially designed by PADI Professionals who are experts in their field of diving, and aim to give you the specialist knowledge and skills to further enjoy your exploration of the undersea world.

NB: Specialities marked * are courses which Simply Scuba recommends for their practical application for diving both in the UK and abroad. Certain specialities are not currently available at Simply Scuba; please contact us for more details.

Most speciality courses come with their own independent study materials, which can be supported by a video, (at additional cost) and are based upon practical application of knowledge and skills whilst diving. Most can be completed over a single weekend.

The exceptions being those that are theory / academic based (Project Aware courses and Equipment specialist). These do not necessarily involve open water dives, and as such are ideal for those winter months when the opportunities to go open water diving are limited.

Whatever the course, upon successful completion, you will receive a speciality diver rating certification card confirming your achievement from PADI International which is valid world wide, confirming your commitment to furthering your diving education and experience!
