A bit about Mares
For nearly 60 years Mares have been recognised as a leading manufacturer of dive equipment and have made much technological advancement in dive gear. They do literally everything you would need to go diving with from their great range of wetsuits and BCD’s to their excellent regulators. Mares have recently released the Carbon 42 which is the world’s first all carbon regulator. They also are the makers of the legendary Avanti Quattro fin which is pretty much the benchmark for performance fins.
Mares Avanti Quattro
Not a new fin but without a doubt one of the best fins ever made, the Mares Avanti Quattro fin provides superb power through a combination of technologies. The fins feature blade stabilizers to improve stability and eliminate ankle twisting phenomena. Rubberised side ribs improve elasticity, and maximize resistance to cuts and abrasions. These fins are pretty much indestructible to, there are many divers who have done literally thousands of dives in these fins and they are still goings strong.

Mares Carbon M42 Regulator
The Mares Carbon is the first ever completely carbon bodied regulator. There are several advantages in using carbon fibre. The body of the first stage is 65% lighter than the metal version and it has a much higher thermal conductivity making it excellent for cold water use. This regulator has been extensively tested and has been proven to provide a better breathe in cold conditions that a standard plastic bodied regulator.

Mares Trilastic 543 Dive Suit
If like the rest of us you have been struggling to move around in you 5mm suit for years then the 543 could be for you. Essentially it’s a 5mm suit where it matters, on the chest back and upper arms / legs. Then as the suit goes towards your wrists and feet it reduces to a 4mm and 3mm providing exceptionally good movement.

Mares Liquid Skin
Liquid skin is the combination of two different grades of silicone which makes for a mask skirt that is not only strong but also very comfortable at the same time. We have this great technology available on the X-Vision, Essence and the Star.
