Scratch CardScratch card - March 2010

The idea was for the competition to be a bit like a Lottery scratch card where you just scratch off 4 squares and if you match up four gold coins, you are the winner.

Graham Ballantyne scratched off 4 gold coins to win a Scuba Fuego diving light worth £45.

X-Factor Style Sob Stories - December 2009

We ran a competition for our facebook members where they could win any bit of scuba equipment they asked for in their sob story.

The winner - Chris Malpass with the following story won a £500 pound gift voucher to purchase a dry suit with.

"Simply Scuba, I would really like a new drysuit for xmas:).

The one I have is a murky green and at the best of times it makes me look like a 'gay sailor' so I have been told. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but when I am away on expedition dives my 'fellow' divers find it funny that I am the only diver with ...a green coloured drysuit which was made about a decade ago :(

Whats worse is that they have come up with the idea of decorating it to make it look a little more colourful and the idea they came up with, was glueing sequens to it. Ah the shame, it has not as yet happened but when it does, even the seals will be taking the micky out of me :(.

They have already given me a new nickname which has been promoted as 'Sparkles' and now I am known as the glittery green diver.

A new suit wouldn't go a miss, or something to take the attention away from the dam green things... What was I THINKING when I bought it!

It was cheap, thats about it :(
