A bit about Atomic
For over twenty years Atomic have been the makers of some of the best dive gear available on the market today, unlike a lot of manufacturers Atomic do not produce a budget range. They literally do top of the range only. They have an excellent range of no compromise regulators. Atomic were the first company to create both titanium and stainless steel regulators and are always at the forefront of technology.

Stainless Steel ST1 Regulator
The Atomic ST1 is the only stainless steel regulator available on the market. The first stage is machined from a special grade Stainless Steel and is twice as strong as brass with the same corrosion resistance as Titanium. Another advantage of Stainless Steel is that it is significantly more environmentally friendly than other metals as it doesn’t require any additional protective coating like chrome or nickel.
The second stage is the excellent all titanium second stage from the Atomic T2 and B2 regulator.

Subframe ARC Mask
Atomic make some excellent masks, but the ARC mask is a real groundbreaker. As you descend into the depths light becomes less and as such your vision decreases. The ARC (anti-reflective coating) us a very clever coating that allows more light to enter which gives you a better view.
It’s been calculated that this amazing lens technology can give you back up to 12% more light. Which results in clearer vision. The other advantage is that objects at distance will become more defined and distinct.

Smoke On The Water - Atomic Splitfin
The Atomic Splitfin is without a doubt one of the best fins on the market. The new version is fitted as standard with a spring strap for easy fit and removal. No more messing about in the water with buckles with this fin.
Why are Splitfins so good? Well this is simple, a standard flat bladed fin pushes the water, whereas a Splitfin works by creating a funnel through which water can pass giving you significantly more thrust. It also has the added advantage of being easier to use.

Atomic Safe Seconds
If you’re like most divers and get tired of having hoses everywhere you can cut one out with the Atomic SS1, fitting onto the end of most BCD inflators it combines both your inflator and octopus into one unit. These units are pretty much the norm in America but haven’t made it big here yet due to the way we teach. They are however an excellent idea as they are very easy to find when you are panicking.
You simply pass your primary to your friend in need and you use the SS1.
