What is the PADI Master Scuba Diver Certification?
This certification denotes that you've reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI
System of diver education. PADI Master Scuba Diver indicates you have a significant amount of training
and experience in a variety of dive environments.
No one said prestige was easy to come by, but it is certainly well worth it. As a Master Scuba Diver
your experience will open a new level of confidence whether you're diving local wrecks, quarries, reefs
or exploring exciting dive environments around the world. Achieving recognition as a 'black belt' of
recreational scuba diving is amongst the most sought after diving accolades.
So how do you earn the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating? You need to be a certified PADI Rescue Diver
(or qualifying certification from another organization), have at least 50 logged dives and 5 PADI Specialty course certifications
Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for Junior Master Scuba Diver)
